1. New Look Feedback.
Thank you to all of our members for their feedback on the new look. We have fixed the minor bugs, and now our focus is to improve speed and readability. Some of our projects are: using multiple tables to increase loading speeds, optimizing our HTML and CGI, using simple text links for the top navigation bar, adjusting table width to use the entire browser, using more readable fonts for the different browsers, and improving color schemes for better contrast. The new release is scheduled for early December. We are also working on the frequently requested "text-only" version. Look for these additions and more new features in the future. As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated.

2. Where The Geeks Are.
Do you belong to a usergroup, newsgroup, work for a cool IT web site, or participate in an ongoing academic research project? Experts Exchange is currently seeking organizations like these for partnerships and to share our patent-pending forum technology, user base, and content. If you answered "yes" to any part of the above questions, or if you know of a super-cool web site where the computer geeks hang out, please let us know by sending an e-mail to share@experts-exchange.com.

3. Our "Clean, Well Lit Place"
In order to maintain our forum as a "Clean, Well Lit Place" for knowledge sharing, members must please keep in mind two golden rules. Firstly, when posting a question, remember to follow through with your responsibility to the experts and community. This is accomplished by responding to comments aimed at answering your questions and providing grades as soon as possible. Delays in this process crowd the forums with unnecessary information and make it difficult for experts to find those who still need answers.

Secondly, propose answers only when you believe the information is a useful response aimed at answering the specific question. This practice will reduce "white noise" and keep the site information focused. It is often difficult for experts to find questions in need of answers when the questions are locked by members interested in solely obtaining points.

4. Experts Only!
Many of you have noticed the mysterious link to the Experts Only page. The recent launch of this special page gives Experts access to the latest community updates, future projects, and special offers. This is the place to state your opinions, as Expert feedback is crucial in our efforts to improve our community. We happily anticipate your brilliant ideas.
