Still open: Using virtual directorys in Dreamweaver
"I have created a small site in Dreamweaver, which is held on an IIS6 web-server. I've included a virtual directory on the IIS side, pointing to a folder on the same server but on a different disk with some ZIP and RAR files etc. How can I point links to this virtual directory using Dreamweaver? In Frontpage, these virtual directorys were visible in the folderwiev of the site, but not in Dreamweaver."

"I am creating a page to place my intro flash file. I am using table. I created a page with bg = black and inserted a table with bg = red, 3 rows and 3 cols. I would like to insert my flash in 2,2 (middle). I align table center and cell 2,2 valign - center. The problem is that table is not centering in the middle of the page. Also how come I see my background black infront of my table (left side and right side)?"

You can make the case that if it weren't for
all of the flaws in Microsoft's Internet-related programs, I'd be out of a
job, because a lot of my columns seem to be about viruses and phishing and
things like that.
Microsoft has finally gotten around to going after the people who are giving it a bad name. Gates and Co. filed 117 lawsuits against phishermen last week. Of course, most of them are what are called "John Doe" suits, meaning that Microsoft doesn't yet know who it's suing, but with their resources, maybe they'll put a few of these folks out of business.
This shouldn't come as a huge surprise: I'm an eBay fan. But there have recent actions by various state governments to require some sellers to have licenses of various sorts -- as auctioneers or pawn shops, among other things. The states' reasoning is pretty simple: if a California pawn shop sells something, it collects sales tax of 7.25 per cent minimum, and you had better believe that Ahnold wants his money.
Finally, we've been thinking about getting a new car, but after reading that carmakers are putting black boxes in cars that record speed and seat belt use, I'm not so sure I want one. Not that I exceed the speed limit or anything like that, but I'm not so sure I want my car tattling on me.
